Literature Text

And I sat back, looking at the stars
And the moonlight, so pale, so white
Not realizing how they are far
With their sparkle reaching me, so bright

One too many stars, for such a lonely moon
All around it, like moths to a flame
And when the rain comes down, so soon
In the cloudy sky all will be the same

The rain feels like the tears of a sweet
Maiden that lives up above, up high
With the clouds as her dress' velvet
And the breeze is her lonely sigh
Rain, I guess. Made this while listening to a good jazz piece, plus its raining outside. Kinda abrupt end, though.
I'll come back to it, sometime, and finish what's missing. Perhaps.
